Many people have asked me why I became a chiropractor.  Besides experiencing the benefits of chiropractic first hand at a young age, the chiropractic lifestyle is something that has always resonated within me.  It is common knowledge that both healthy and unhealthy choices have an impact on our own personal well-being and the relationships we share with others.

You’re probably asking yourself what is a chiropractic lifestyle?  The best example is to look at the workings of the “Godfather of Fitness,” Jack LaLanne.  Many people know of this legendary man for his innovations and expertise in the fitness and nutritional industries but are unaware of his roots as a chiropractor.  He was an avid proponent of chiropractic care, even crediting his chiropractic education for his ability to open the first modern health spa.  One can argue that the knowledge he gained in chiropractic school was the foundation for many things that are associated with health and fitness today.  Jack’s mission was “to help people to help themselves.”  Through his methods, he taught us all how to live healthier and happier lives.  He was ON Point.

Our goal parallels that of Jack LaLanne’s.  Here at ON Point Chiropractic, Sports Medicine & Integrated Wellness, we do not only relieve you of your aches and pains (even though we are darn good at that if that is your only goal).  That is just a small part of our larger mission.  If you have ever looked at van Gogh’s Starry Night you know that it is impossible to look at just one star without having your eyes drawn to another aspect of the masterpiece.   We view the human body in the same way – as a whole, non-static, always dynamic masterpiece.

ON Point takes into consideration many factors that affect the way and quality in which you live, from the way you move, eat and sleep to the way you feel, work and play.  We take a truly holistic approach to your health and well-being.  Just as the “Godfather of Fitness” did, our ultimate goal is to teach as many people as possible how to live healthier and be ON Point.
