One of the Rarest Credentials in Connecticut Golf Chiropractic
Dr. Mark Konopka holds TPI Certified Medical Level 3, one of the rarest credentials in golf performance chiropractic, and one of very few in Connecticut. He's also an avid golfer himself, so he's not guessing at what your swing feels like under pressure.
TPI, the Titleist Performance Institute, is the gold standard in golf performance, used by pros around the world. There are three tracks: golf-pro TPI for swing coaching, fitness TPI for exercise-based training, and medical TPI, the doctor-level track that Dr. Mark holds (and Dr. Ryan DiPrimo is currently pursuing). There isn't one perfect swing for everyone. There's the right swing for your body. Swing coaching looks at the wand. A medical TPI assessment looks at the magician behind it, the mobility, stability, and movement patterns that actually produce the swing.
Every assessment is paired with our Kinetisense 3D movement analysis, so your plan is based on how your body actually moves, not a guess. From there, treatment may also draw on Sports Rehab techniques to protect your game long-term.
Benefits of a TPI Assessment
A TPI screen identifies the faulty mobility and stability patterns causing inconsistency in your game, nagging pain, or both. From there, we build treatment sessions around specific exercises to improve your swing and protect you from the injury that would otherwise sideline your season, or your next ten seasons.
- Find what's actually limiting your swing, not just the visible flaw
- Address nagging pain at the source before it quietly gets worse over a season
- Protect your game long-term and reduce injury risk
- A plan built for your body, not a generic golf-fitness handout
